Capital Campaign

Rho Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity is raising funds to build a new chapter house. The historic chapter house, constructed in 1915 and renovated in 1921 and 1962, has been part of Rho’s legacy for over 100 years but unfortunately was showingits age. It became clear that a major investment in a new chapter house was needed in order to provide a first-rate living environment for undergraduate members, to meet City of Columbia mandated Greek housing requirements, and to remain competitive in the increasingly competitive Mizzou Greek housing market. The new chapter house will enable Sigma Nu to carry on the traditions of the chapter, remain in the top tier of fraternities at Mizzou, and continue to have a chapter house that is admired in its place at the south end of Fraternity Row.

Demolition of the old house began in June 2016 and the new house will be completed in August 2017 for the new academic year.
